I have been in NY for one week
Tomorrow I will have been here for a week… exhausting week!
I stayed a couple of nights at a youth hostal, back to my backpacker days sleeping in dormitories with 10 beds in each room. Nice comunal kitchen, nice conversations with the chinese girls, the girl from Iran, the guys from Colombia, the receptionist who hates her job… fun experience, but I am also glad I don’t have to stay there for a whole month.

William, Jack of all trades… master of nothing
There is this guy called William who works in the building where I work, he is Colombian, and has been in the states since 1968, before I was born… before my parents were married, maybe before they even met. He is Mr. Jack of all trades, a Master in nothing and everything, he does whatever is needed, he paints the walls, makes sure to keep office supplies for the different companies that have their office there, collects the post, changes lightbulbs when they are needed.
