USA

December 28th, 2007

We came up with a new term today, talking about how we all tend to give advice when what most people is asking for is to be listened to and not advice.

We could do with being better at asking questions or being genuinly interested in what the person is saying, and not giving unsolicited advice…

USA… UnSolicited Advice

So, next time you find yourself in a situation where you are giving, or are receiving unsolicited advice, the conversation could go something like:

“is what you just said a piece of USA?”

or

“allow me to give you a USA?”

or

“did you just USA me?”

So, my piece of USA for the day, is start using USA in your terminology, it will make your communication much less understandable and hence much more interesting.
